Vanessa Robbert R.Ac

Vanessa is a Registered Acupuncturist offering acupuncture with a gentle, patient-centered approach. She supports people with musculoskeletal injuries, concussion recovery, acute and chronic pain, anxiety, depression, digestive health, and reproductive well-being, tailoring each treatment to the individual’s unique needs.

Raised in a family deeply rooted in both Western and Eastern medicine, Vanessa grew up immersed in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her decision to practice Acupuncture as a career was solidified at age seventeen after traveling to China to study Qi Gong. She went on to complete the Diploma of Acupuncture at Pacific Rim College and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the CTCMA in 2020.

Vanessa’s primary acupuncture style is rooted in Japanese techniques, known for their precision, gentleness, and thoughtful diagnosis through abdominal palpation and pulse assessment. Treatments may include ultra-fine needling, moxibustion, cupping, or shallow techniques to support the body’s natural healing processes. When appropriate, she integrates traditional Chinese acupuncture or intramuscular trigger point dry needling for muscular concerns.

For children, infants, and those sensitive to needles, Vanessa offers non-invasive options such as acupressure, laser therapy, and traditional Shonishin tools. Grounded in active listening, compassion, and calm presence, her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where patients feel truly cared for.
